Energy Recovery from Organic Waste

Organic waste can be processed into renewable energy outputs. Through controlled recovery processes, it can contribute to the production of electricity and heat, while also generating useful by-products such as digestate that can be used as a natural fertilizer (where permitted and applicable).

Inward Processing (Active Processing) Authorization – Customs Duties Suspended

ROBRES operates under a European customs authorisation for Inward Processing — a special customs procedure that allows non-Union goods to be brought into the EU with import duties and taxes suspended, as long as the procedure is correctly discharged.

What this means for you

With this authorisation, we can handle selected imported goods within a compliant framework where customs duties are not due upfront, and the entire process is managed with the right documentation and traceability.

Inward Processing is designed for controlled handling of non-Union goods under customs supervision. Depending on the case and the agreed discharge route, it can cover operations that go beyond classic “manufacturing” — including compliant treatment/handling routes that may involve disposal under specific conditions.

Important:

Inward Processing always requires correct eligibility and discharge. If goods are released onto the EU market (“free circulation”), import duties and taxes become payable.
